Best White Paint Colours

There are so many white paints out in the marketing, sometimes it gets confusing on which one to choose for your walls. They come in different shades (pure white, off-white, simply white) and under tones. When choosing a white paint, you also have to consider what it will look in natural light or artificial light. White paint is one of the most popular paint colours out there -and it’s a go too for many Interior designers who want to create a bright and airy space.

Benjamin Moore White Dove OC-17 ​This warm white paint has a creamy under tone that is used to create a warm and calming space. I love using this colour in living rooms or rooms for entertainment. This white is great on walls if you are planning on adding colourful materials or accessories. I also love using this white paint in spaces that are on the dark/grey side due to natural light. It is a timeless colour and very versatile.

Benjamin Moore Simply White OC-117  ​ Simply put this a pure white with the slightest warm undertone. It not to cool not to warm. It’s also a versatile colour that compliments any colour scheme. This colour is great on tall walls, with a lot of windows or darker space with no light at all.  It’s a great colour for kitchens or bathrooms.

Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace OC-65  ​ If you are looking for pure white this is the colour for you. It’s a clean white but not a sterile shade. It has warm under tone with a bit of cool grey. I use this in my kitchen and bathroom walls. This pairs great with cabinetry that has pop of colour (Navy, Black, Grey). Some designers also use this shade for trim work – baseboard & crown molding.

Benjamin Moore Super White PM-1  ​ This one is purest of whites with no colour under tones. Great for gallery walls, display artwork or simply make a statement with furniture. This will brighten any space that has drab lighting.

Benjamin Moore Decorator's White CC-20 ​This is a very bright clean white – that is great for any millwork, trim work, or ceilings.  It is on the cooler side of white with no cream or yellow under tones. Another white that is great for backdrop in a space that has a lot of colours.
