Modern and Chic Ways to Decorate Your Home for Easter

Easter is around the corner! Our household gets excited for this holiday as it is also a signal for spring. We love decorating the house, incorporating beautiful spring pastel colours and bright green foliage. These elements add freshness to your home décor as we transition out of winter.
There are plenty of ways to embrace the buzz surrounding the holiday in a way that is more to the tune of your own design preferences. Below are several ideas that pull the best colours, textures, and themes from Easter and spring décor and spin them in an updated way that skips over neon eggs and life-size chick and rabbit statues
Create your own Easter Wreath: My daughter and I love crafting. This year we are going to change up our Easter Wreath. I started searching the internet for inspiration – and I found this beautiful faux floral wreath by Better Home & Garden.  This wreath is a gorgeous statement piece that can be reused year after year
Wood Easter Bunny: We love this modern Easter bunny display from  Club Craft, its made of wooden balls and so easy to make with a hot glue gun and a few paint colors. The final result will also last for many more Easters to come!
Cracked Easter Egg Tree: We stumbled across this neat idea where you take papier-mâché eggs found at  the local craft store and paint them with chalk paint and fill them in with anything you want - like faux grass or foil covered chocolate eggs.  We love the artsy aspect of the type of décor. It’s a nice centerpiece to have on your Easter dining table.

Bunny Tail Place Setting: We are loving this bunny-inspired place cards from Good Housekeeping.  It's made from cardstock and easy to create by making a  circle for each guest and writing their name in bold, black letters.  Glue on a pom-pom bunny tail and crisscross two faux flowers to create cute bunny ears.

Easter Egg Decor: These Easter eggs are gorgeous—and you won't believe how easy they are to create from Martha Stewart. Whatever your skill level, she provides helpful resources like printable templates, videos, colour charts and download clip art templates —there are bunnies, chicks, and lovely floral motifs to choose from.

Easter Centre Pieces: You can decorate a showstopping table by gathering just a few in-season flowers and displaying them in a pretty way. Martha Stewart has stunning examples that you can replicate to create vivid spring centerpieces for any tablescape.
